Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from reality and look at some optical illusions or take an IQ test to see if you should buy a latex mattress. We may want to at times put together a puzzle even. And then there are the folks who like riddles and brainteasers. Brain teasers aren’t really all that well defined, but they can generally be anything that causes you to be stumped initially and have to stop to figure something out. The reason why so many people like brain teasers is because they are fun. They cause us to look at things from a different perspective, they challenge us. It takes us time to figure out a brain teaser.
Brain teasers can rile us up and cause us to become latex mattress frustrated, too. We may want to just go lie down on our latex mattress and fall straight to sleep. I remember when I got my first Rubik’s Cube and I along with most of the population (I’m sure) threw my hands up after I could get only so many matching sides but not the entire cube. It was a little upsetting at first to try my hand at the Rubik’s Cube and not be able to solve it. Ah, that’s what the solution manual is for, right? Some people keep going until they logically figure out brain teasers or puzzles. These guy or gals have staying power and should be commended for their stick-to-it-ive-ness. They are the real troopers. They are probably the ones that write the solutions manuals for the rest of us.
Brain Teasers like crossword puzzles and such help aged people. I don’t know if it has been proven, but I would guess that there is a good probability if you exercise your brain in your later years by going constantly from one brain teaser to the next you might avoid dementia and Alzheimer’s. Make sure you sleep on a latex mattress, too, for comfort reasons. What a joy that would be, and don’t we all want to be sharp for our grandchildren? If you have ever known an elderly gentleman or lady that has a lot of things memorized, these are probably the same kind of people that have tried a few brain teasers in their lives, and you should be able to learn a trick or two from them.
If you haven’t tried the type of brain teaser where you are attempting to undo two pieces of metal that look like they are eternally linked, then you are in for a real treat. Of course, that is if you can stand the suspense. Don’t get frustrated, just keep at it and try different things until, poof, magically you will be able to unlink them. The real trick is that you need to reverse engineer how you did it so you can repeat it and be the one that teaches others the brain teaser. Don’t blow it by not being able to reproduce your brain teasing powers on a latex mattress!
